Description:

As Lead Sales Representative you and your team generate revenue by creating excitement over goal attainment, enrolling members, and being in relationship with potential, new and existing members.

  • Your earning potential is limited only by your own personal drive and willingness to succeed.
  • This position is a non-exempt position that provides a base hourly rate plus the potential to earn additional compensation once reaching a specified productivity threshold

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Establishes and maintains a positive and friendly studio environment by greeting members and guests promptly, energetically, and with a smile
  • Maintains accurate records of client profiles and inventory
  • Leads FIT36 studio previews with prospects and members
  • Answers phone inquiries, and conduct follow-up and customer care calls
  • Accurately follows the daily studio cleaning checklist
  • Maintains an organized and clean working environment at the desk and front lobby
  • Responsibly handles cash and credit card transactions
  • Leads proper on-boarding of first time clients through Intake Forms and Membership Agreements
  • Hire, train and develop a strong team of CSR/Sales Team Memebers who deliver on company goals and reflects its values
  • Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets
  • Lead and develop the sales team to increase stuido revenue with an emphasis on new studio memberships
  • Model the FIT36 core values during his or her leadership, to ensure high-level member and team member satisfaction and exhibit behaviors that are in alignment with our vision of being passionate about inspiring and empowering our members to live fit and healthy lives

Qualifications :

  • Prior management experience in service sales industry leading 4-10 employees preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as a top sales producer
  • Experience in fitness membership sales preferred
  • Proven Successful leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have worked in a quota bearing structure
  • Functional computer skills required
  • Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs

Certifications / Educational Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree is Preferred
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work in studio setting; move about studio floors and rooms; review, revise, create stuido paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
  • Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or e-mail system
  • Ability to communicate telephonically with members

Work Environment :

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
  • Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
